Suresh Chatwal, a man known for his memorable roles in Bollywood and TV serials is no more. He passed away on May 28 leaving his fans and family behind. Soon after the news of his demise became public many took social networking sites to mourn the death of the veteran actor.
Suresh Chatwal will ever be remembered for his larger than life onscreen presence. A talented character actor he could easily fit into the role given to him. Part of popular Hindi TV serial Nukkad, his role as Dukhiya shayar who bored everybody with meaningless shayaris (couplets) is remembered till date. His role as Police commissioner in another popular show “FIR” was well appreciated. After making acting debut in the year 1969 with “Rakhi Rakhi”, he was seen in films like “Karan Arjun”, “Koyla” and “Munna Bhai MBBS”. He was last seen on the big screen in “Nakshatra” in 2010.
Illness and Death
Suffering from various age old related ailments he breathed his last on May 28. His son Yaman Chatwal broke the tragic news of his sudden demise and wrote “With great grief, I inform you that my father, Suresh Chatwal is no more between us. He left for heavenly aboard yesterday succumbing to his ongoing illness.” Soon after many of his colleagues and fans took twitter to express their grief over his demise.
